Join Us in Washington, D.C.!
St. Genevieve will join many parishes from our Archdiocese on Saturday, Oct. 28, in a pilgrimage to our nation’s capital in celebration of the 100th Anniversary year of Our Lady of Fatima.
I invite you to join me and our Festival Choir for this pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Our group will receive a special tour of the National Shrine of Pope St. John Paul II and our choir directed by Andrew Puntel will lead us in song and music in the shrine’s chapel.
The day’s schedule also includes a procession and crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the National Shrine followed by the praying the Rosary and closing Mass celebrated by Archbishop Charles Chaput at 3 pm.
Coach bus transportation from the church parking lot will be provided by Father Kevin. Anyone wishing to attend must sign up in the Narthex before Oct. 20. Stay tuned for further details.
