Any strong, healthy 16-49 year olds looking to step up in the face of a pandemic? The largest food pantry in Montgomery County, Martha’s Choice (run by our Catholic Social Services) saw a 100% increase in client volume yesterday. We are in need of strong, healthy volunteers to help serve those in need during this time. Martha’s Choice has been able to serve people from the parking lot, maintain social distancing/stringent sanitizing and limit the number of people present by adjusting service protocols for the safety of all involved. They need volunteers in 3-4 hour increments or more during these times: 8 am-4 pm on Monday; 9 am-7:30 pm on Wed; 8 am-7:30 pm on Thurs; 9 am-4 pm on Fri
If you are able to help with this, please contact Patrick Walsh at Catholic Social Services Martha’s Choice Marketplace: pwalsh@chs-adphila.org
